For consumers in the EU, a statutory right of withdrawal may apply to distance contracts. Because our binding subscription contract is concluded offline (when you sign and return the emailed agreement), the full withdrawal notice is provided with that agreement package. Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires fourteen days after the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us ([COMPANY NAME], [Street and number], [Postal code City], [contact@example.com]) of your decision by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email).
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
If you requested that the services begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to the services already provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Possible exception for food on fixed dates
Under German law (BGB § 312g), the right of withdrawal may not apply to contracts for the supply of goods that deteriorate quickly or for services related to leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period — e.g. weekly meal delivery on a fixed pickup day. Have your lawyer confirm whether and how this applies to your subscription.
